Affiliate Disclosure

Our commitment to transparency
Luxvala is an independent editorial journal. To keep the site free of display advertising and editorial pressure from brands, we participate in affiliate programmes. This page explains exactly how that works.
What are affiliate links?
Some links on Luxvala point to products on retailer websites. When you click one of these links and make a purchase, we may receive a small commission — typically 2–10% of the sale price — at no additional cost to you.
Which programmes do we use?
- Amazon Associates — Luxvala is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program.
- RewardStyle / LTK — for fashion and beauty product links.
- ShopMy — for curated product recommendations.
- Brand-direct programmes — selected partnerships with beauty and fragrance brands.
- Pinterest — product pins may use Pinterest's native affiliate attribution.
Does this affect our editorial independence?
No. We only recommend products we have personally tested or genuinely believe in. We never recommend something solely because it pays a higher commission, and we never accept payment to feature a product in an editorial context without clearly labelling it as sponsored.
Negative reviews are published when warranted. A product having an affiliate link does not guarantee a positive review.
How to identify affiliate links
Affiliate links may contain tracking parameters (e.g. ?tag= or similar). The site-wide disclosure banner at the top of every page reads: "Affiliate disclosure — We earn a small commission on qualifying purchases."
FTC compliance
This disclosure complies with the United States Federal Trade Commission's guidelines on endorsements and testimonials (16 CFR Part 255), as well as the UK ASA guidelines and EU consumer protection regulations.
